Message from the Principal
Welcome to
Dhulikhel High School, an inclusive and empowering learning community,
fostering confidence and creativity among students through intensive
collaborative programs and approaches. The heart of the teaching and learning
activities includes special coordination of Academic and Extra-Curricular
Activities guided with the principle of “Deeds, Not Words.” We have a staff
body committed to working alongside every child in the quest to help them to
become the best. Our school resides on the central values of respect,
resilience, and integrity, which underpins all aspects of our learning day.
Our school
has a strong 30-year history of serving the community via providing quality
education, even with a limited fee structure. Along with this sense of history,
the parents, teachers, and children have a strong community spirit and are
committed to ensuring the school remains a happy and safe place for learning
and growing.
The School
Council and staff have committed themselves to ensure that all programs are in line
with currently held beliefs about teaching and learning. Our teachers undertake
ongoing professional development as part of their everyday work life. Students
who come to Dhulikhel High School receives a well-balanced and varied
educational package focusing on the wholesome development of the child in all
avenues of student’s life.
Parents
are always welcome. You can arrange visits with class teachers and subject
teachers outside of class time. Regular informal and communication with
teachers is encouraged, and every effort designed to develop a conjugal
relationship between home and school. The school is committed to bringing the
utmost performance of the students as desired by their parents through the
coordination of students, teachers, school and parents.

Message from the Managing Partner
The world has changed enormously since Dhulikhel High School welcomed our first students in 1990. Still, its mission to attract and develop dedicated and disciplined students and teachers from all backgrounds to serve our society remains as vital now as it was then.
At DHS, we take our responsibility to find what is exceptional in our students very seriously. The experience prepared for them here gives every student an overall development to enter a competitive and interconnected world, building capacities to collaborate, take intellectual risks, and turn their ideas and passion into something original and valuable. Our experienced and dedicated teachers live, work, and play with our students in the beautiful school campus.
The school has stepped into a new era of educational reforms. The introduction of the Montessori Method of teaching and learning has just laid the foundation a couple of years back. Following that, the school intends to extend its facilities to Secondary Level (Class XI and XII) in the coming years. Moreover, in its extensive program, the school is building infrastructures to run under-graduate and post-graduate programs in few faculties serving the nation in bringing productive candidates for the future. This process has begun with the research and training conducted with a few responsible members already into the quest. This team’s prime focus is to learn the international experiences in these education levels and help the institution impart a similar feel to its students.
We believe in building educated, ethical human beings by helping them be wise, moral leaders, preparing them to enter one of the strongest fraternities for life.
